Iām highly interested in information technology and audio/visual systems, often playing around with servers, networking hardware, workstations, home automation, network audio, mixers & other cool tech.
About me
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience with IT and AV systems that I have gained from working in a Technical role in the K-12 Education sector including experience with Procurement, AV system design and commissioning, windows servers, virtualisation, physical security (access control, intruder alarms and CCTV), Wi-Fi and switching, VoIP, live event audio/video/lighting and live-streaming.
More recently, through self-employed work, I have gained experience running networked audio across a campus (complete with deployment of all network infrastructure using fibre), running live event audio/projection and working with clients to make sure their event runs smoothly (even if the weather goes pear shaped!).

Networked audio across a secondary school campus connecting the DJ and outdoor stage, performing arts centre, carpark, covered areas and VIP space. Projection onto a building for fireworks countdown and atmosphere.
My team and I were responsible for setup and packdown of all the networking and Dante equipment used, outdoor speakers and projectors.
Following heavy rain during the event (damaging some of the DJ's speakers and equipment), we had to quickly adapt and move equipment around to facilitate audio for the fireworks.
